A 20 year old from Warstones in Wolverhampton’s passion for people has seen him gain employment at a local pub with support from Intraining.
When Tobias Teaoman Melville was referred to Intraining from the Job Centre in June 2016 his confidence and motivation were extremely low, but with support from the team at Intraining in Wolverhampton he has turned his life around and has successfully applied for a job as part of the bar staff team at a local pub.
“When I came to Intraining I wasn’t in a good place and finding work seemed a world away, but the time and effort that the staff at Intraining have invested in me has been a big help,” said Tobias.
“Working in a social environment in a hospitality or retail role is what I’ve always wanted to do because I feel like I’ve got a friendly personality and I have a good way with people so my advisor has encouraged me to apply for different roles and I’ve also had support with my English skills, CV writing, interview technique and body language.”
Tobias will begin working in his new job at the end of March and hopes to progress into a bar management role in the future.
