Ashley Ford's journey from Apprentice to Compliance Officer with Intraining has been acknowledged with an award from one of the largest education, training and employability organisations in the UK.
Ashley won the Excellence in Customer Experience award at NCG’s annual Excellence Awards, held at Newcastle College, which celebrates the very best in teaching and learning in the organisation.
“I was honoured when I found out I had been nominated for this award and I never thought I would win as I was up against some strong opposition. I have been working in what is now known as the compliance team for over four years and it is pleasing to know that my drive and commitment is well appreciated by other members throughout NCG,” said Ashley.
Ashley started as an apprentice with Intraining in 2013 achieving a level two and three qualification before being taken on by the business full time.
This progression and the experience gained has made Ashley a valuable asset to Intraining as he has developed an excellent understanding of a variety of funding systems, processes and funding rules.
““I’m absolutely delighted for Ashley and all of Intraining’s finalists who all deserve to be praised for their fantastic work and dedication which is making a real difference to our learners lives,” said Ian Webber, Managing Director of Intraining.
Ashley is a real team player, sharing best practice with colleagues to help improve processes throughout the compliance team and consistently providing outstanding support services to Intraining and Supply Chain partners.
“Ashley should be proud of succeeding in this journey of personal development and his commitment to operations customers and colleagues,” said Jonathan Newbould, Skills Operational Support Team Leader for Intraining.
This is the fourth year that NCG hosted the awards which this year received over 500 nominations in all of the categories.
